  1. I have utilized various classroom management software throughout the years, including platforms such as Teacher's Corner and Google Classroom. After reading this blog review by Meesha Roland-Craigg, I found that Canvas LMS offers a variety of features that make it notably more user-friendly and well-suited for classroom use. The text-to-speech feature, e-portfolios, and discussion forums where students can be placed in predetermined groups to collaborate on different projects are significant advantages. Additionally, the inclusion of a calendar of events, along with its ability to analyze and generate reports on student engagement and attendance, provides valuable tools in the assessment process. As a teacher, I would definitely consider switching to Canvas LMS to enhance the interactive experience for my students.

  2. When examining the effectiveness of Google Classroom in Barbados, it's clear that our access to interactive features is limited. Student interaction primarily occurs through the stream, where they can respond to announcements, and the Google Meet video conferencing feature. Teachers can facilitate collaboration by creating questions in the Classwork section, enabling students not only to answer but also to respond to each other's answers. Unfortunately, this seems to be the extent of Google Classroom's student collaborative features.
